Unique Patek Philippe Inaugurates A New Building In 2010

Patek Philippe inaugurated a new building now hosting the manufacturing of watch movement components and has thus expanded its manufacturing site in Plan-les-Ouates.To ensure its future development, Patek Philippe has expanded its production site by moving its watch movement Component Manufacturing Division to a renovated building adjacent to its main workshops in Plan-les-Ouates.

This investment is perfectly in line with the company's strategy to continue to entirely control the design, production and assembly of its timepieces of unrivalled quality in an optimal working environment.

The official inauguration of the new building took place on February 18th,2010 in the presence of Philippe Stern, Honorary President, Thierry Stern, President, Claude Peny, Managing Director, Pierre-Francois Unger, State Counselor for the Department of the Economy of the Canton of Geneva, Thierry Durand, Mayor of Plan-les-Ouates, as well as local press editors.

The visit of the new premises was followed by the ceremony speeches as well as a cocktail served in the pleasant cafeteria of the new building.

"This inauguration marks the completion of several years of efforts and investments uniquely aimed at reinforcing our industrial capacity and ensuring the future development of our company”, declared Philippe Stern. "Patek Philippe thus continues to invest in the future of the traditional Geneva watchmaking industry, while also capitalizing on leading-edge technologies and innovation”, added President Thierry Stern.
