Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Anniversary Edition Watch

The German watchmaker will soon introduce its new Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Anniversary Edition manual-wind watch.Unlike the original Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph watch that was equipped with the MB R120 hand-wound movement, this version of the timekeeper for some unknown reason comes powered by the base Caliber MB R110 that the MB R120 was based on.The only difference between the two is that the MB R120 had its lever and escape-wheel made of silicon. The silicon parts are more expensive and harder to manufacture, but also show remarkable lightness combined with antimagnetic properties.

Limited Editions of 190 Pieces in Rose Gold - 90 Pieces in White Gold and 25 Pieces in Platinum

The case measures 43mm x 14mm. It has double sapphire crystals and is water resistant to 30 meters. The crown, done in 18kt rose gold, features an inlaid mother-of-pearl Montblanc emblem (done in 18kt white gold for the Platinum and white gold versions).

The dial is silver-colored with black Arabic numerals Grain de Seigle pattern for the rose gold and Platinum models; black dial with white Arabic numerals, Grain de Seigle pattern for the white gold model.

The anniversary edition montblanc chronograph automatic comes in the same 43 mm case, which is available in rose gold, white gold, or even platinum.The dial is slightly redecorated and now features beautiful Grain de Seigle motif.The rose gold and platinum versions come with silvered dials with black Arabic numerals printed on them, while the version in white gold comes with inverted color scheme. Its three-dimensional dial is black and the numerals are printed in white.

Movement is the Swiss manual-wind Montblanc in-house caliber MB R110, a chronograph monopusher with column wheel control and vertical disc clutch, twin barrels, and stop balance wheel. It has 33 jewels, beats at 28,800 vph and has a power reserve of 3 days.

The nicely sculpted setting crown (done in rose gold for the rose gold version or in white gold for the platinum and white gold models) is inlaid with mother-of-pearl “White Star” Montblanc emblem. Also a very nice touch.The total production run will be limited to 205 pieces: 190 watches in rose gold, 90 units in white gold, and the rest will be available in platinum.
